ANDREA TERRIO

Andrea Terrio has been singing folk, rock and rythym & blues since she found a jump rope for a microphone and a picnic table for a stage.

She developed an affection for harmony and song from the artists of the 70’s.  Carol King, Crosby Stills and Nash. Influenced also by the great soul singers of that era like Chaka Kahn, Linda Ronstadt.

In the 1980’s, Andrea joined forces with Bob Chambers, John Pells and John Kew. She embarked upon a long standing musical relationshipwith the group Andrea The Judge & The Sinner. They realized great success and their solid classic rock performances kept audiences entertained for decades while establishing a longstanding following that is alive and well to this day.

Andrea launched and released an original CD in 1996 with Bill Slater called 11:11.  A collection of heartfelt rock and ballads that have an air of Fleetwood Mac meets Chrissy Hynde.  Songs with the themes of universal alignment and love of the divine.

Her natural gift of melody evokes a smooth and earthy sound that soothes the soul.  Intentional yet unassuming.

Andrea has moved through the genres and transitions into a sultry vocalist that earns credibility. Her on stage presence is interactive and her love for performance is evident in the connection of audience and fellow musicians.

"My mission is to have an experience that elevates the room. To help people commune through the music.

My greatest joy is making that eye contact with the audience.  To know the music is reaching someone inside their heart. To evoke emotions be it joy, sadness or nostalgia."

"My favorite thing about performing is riding that wave with the musicians I'm sharing the stage with. When that happens, it translates and connects the room.  It's like flying, it's the purest joy and a privilege.  When you can be the vessel to let the light come through, it's a gift."
